Experiential Workshop
Saturday, November 7 | 12-2pm
Studio X | Gibney: Agnes Varis Performing Arts Center 280 Broadway (entrance at 53A Chambers St.)
Free
This workshop is a window into the process of development for Annie’s work.
It will begin with a conversation with Annie centered around healing and the mechanisms by which we heal the broken things within, between, and amongst us. We will ask the question: is there a choreography of healing?
Then experience the ideas through movement as Annie guides a series of exercises that sharpen the way we listen, feel, and move with one another.
Finish the afternoon watching it all come together as Annie and her collaborators bring the ideas we have discussed and experienced into her choreographic research in real time.
This workshop is intended for the dance and movement curious - whether you have never set foot in a studio or attend classes weekly, we hope you will join us.
This is a free workshop with limited space - register here to save your spot!
